Shipping options
In all cases we will try to dispatch orders either the day that they are placed or the following working day.
Standard 3-5 day delivery will use either Royal Mail 48hr, EVRI standard or a similar service.
Express delivery will use Royal Mail 24hr, EVRI next day or a similar service.
Choice of courier will depend on factors such as weight / size of your order and destination as some couriers do not cover all areas of the UK
For orders using Express delivery, We will make every effort to drop the order off at the courier's collection point in order to catch the courier collection that day. and this may also affect the choice of courier selected. However same day collection by the courier is not guaranteed as courier collections do not always take place at the exact same time each day.
If you require a faster service such as Royal Mail's guaranteed next day by 1pm or similar service then please contact us and we will do our best to meet your needs.
Please note that weekends and bank holidays will have an impact on actual delivery times and there seem to be regular issues with delivery times in the run-ups to Christmas and some other annual events. This is out of our control.
Delayed parcels / those lost in transit
Unfortunately it is an inevitable fact of life that sometimes the couriers will lose (either temporarily or permanently) a parcel. The various couriers have time scales defined for such delays before they will compensate the sender. I will happily send out a replacement item or issue a refund for lost parcels only once the couriers accept that the parcel is lost and agree to compensate me for it.
We are liable for the parcel up until the point at which the courier claims to have delivered it. If they claim to have delivered it but you have not received it then at this point the dispute is not about whether I had posted it or not but is a dispute about the location of the delivery and is the responsibility of the recipient to dispute with the courier. In such instance we may be able to provide a little additional information such as photographs showing the location that the parcel was left or a map showing approximate location of the delivery. We are happy to do all we can in supplying this information if it is available.
